Is your garden very dark in the evening and do you want to add a more light? Then you can use this Luxform York spotlight to create your own lighting. Since you can decide for yourself how you want to distribute one or more spots in your garden, you have the option of keeping a playful or elegant design. The spot has an integrated LED bulb that brings the garden out of the dark. The light output is 400 lumens, making the outdoor area less suitable for use as mood lighting. With the help of the ground plastic pot supplied, the lamp can also be used on loose surfaces such as earth, pebbles and wood chips, for example to put a planter out of the lawn in the spotlight! This lamp works with the flexible Easy Twist 12 V connection system from Luxform, you only need a transformer and a power cord (not included).

Luxform 12 volt lights are suited for every possible use of light in your garden. The lights are totally safe for animals and playing children. The cables are quickly and easily connected with the unique “Easy Twist” system and can be used just underneath the surface without the need of gullies or additional tools.

1. Select the lights you want to use in your garden. Will you chose lanterns for extra atmosphere; spotlights to highlight special plants or features; built-in lights for in your decking, paving or perhaps something in or around the pond?

2. Count up the wattages of all lights chosen. Now you can decide on which transformer to use (available in 20W, 60W and 105W. By counting the wattages of the individual lights, you can determine the capacity of the transformer you require. You may need to allow for extra lights at a later stage. Note: the capacity (wattage) of the transformer always needs to be greater than the total wattage of the lights in your system.

3. Measure the distance from the transformer to the furthest light to be installed. This length of cable is needed to install all the lights. The Luxform main cable has a transformer plug attached and has a length of 15 metre. A 10 metre extension cable can be added. 

= Easy Twist Connect After choosing your lights, the only thing there is left is to place and connect them. This is simple to do due to the Luxform Easy Twist and connect system. Place the main cable and the cable of the lamp inside the connector. Place the cap on and twist them together to make the connection. The connector is water-resistant
